My Son the Doctor at Union Pool

This is a commissioned one-off for Brooklyn based band, My Son the Doctor. When I was contacted, they provided references of my past work, and gave me the freedom of choice. I wanted to evoke the feeling of pulling a used book from the racks at Strand, as if someone were drawn from the bright red, worn down spine that caught their eye on the shelf. I hand filled the typography and star elements, hoping to add to the vintage feel of this flyer.
